Oh I loved this book MS Hayward bought out the emotions and the true love of a romance that had me turning the pages, Santo and Gia had had a past, a friendship and had shared one night with lots of sensual and passionate love, and then Gia left, walked away and left Santo, but did he ever get over her?
Giovanna Castiglione had led a life of being forced to do the right thing by men all of her life, her father and the husband he had chosen for her, but she had always been able to go to her best friend Santo and when just before her wedding she let her feelings out and spent the best night of her life with him one she would never forget. She had to leave and marry for her father’s business, and that ended in disaster so she ran again this time taking her son with her, four years later she runs into Santo, and there is something that Santo Needs to know.
Santo has jumped from woman to woman as he runs the his very successful company, never forgetting Gia the friend and one night lover and now here she is and when he finds out that the son she has is his he becomes very alpha and insists that she marry and move back home with him, where he can protect them both from what is happening with Gia’s criminal father. Can he get her to be happy with this arrangement?
This is a fabulous story even though Santo can act very alpha he is just the most caring and loving hero and he goes out of his way to protect Gia and Leo, Gia has been pushed around by men most of her life and Santo seems to be doing the same, and with how busy he is with his company their journey to a beautiful HEA is filled with sensual pull and many ups and downs, this is a book that I did not want to put down, I loved Gia and Santo, thank you MS Hayward.
