Do love a good alpha hero with a side of vulnerability who is never going to love but then a strong beautiful woman walks into his life and every wall he has built slowly falls, then this is one that you should pick up, come along for the sensual journey to a HEA for billionaire Diablo Barrentes and society wife Briar Davenport.

Briar is not happy when her father pushes her into marriage with the man who tore their family down, it is the only way to save what they have, loving daughter that she is she accepts but she has her own take on things this marriage will be a marriage of convenience, except she cannot ignore the heated emotions that are running through her the more time they spend together.

Diablo needs to get into Sydney society and what better way than with Briar as his wife, he is happy to go along with the explanation that Briar’s father has told her, he doesn’t want love he wants a wife and children, but their wedding night has him feeling very differently.

The passion that explodes between them is hard to contain but with secrets being kept life isn’t going as well as planned but a few days away at the beach sees them start to open up getting to know each other is a start. When secrets are reveled Briar realises that her heart is opening up to love this strong man who hides a lot of himself and Diablo is shocked when he saves Briar of how he really feels. A fabulous story passionate and sensual I really loved Diablo and Briar even if Diablo was trying to make me not like him with his strong alpha ways in the beginning finding love and happiness is what they need and found.
