I first met Stefano in Off-Limits to the Crown Prince and loved him in that story and got to love him even more in his own story as he works hard to overcome wrongs from the past while locked away in his mountain castle, enter Australian violinist Lucy Jamieson in a snowstorm, Lucy is on a mission and is also getting over a break-up, can these two people find love and happiness?
Count Stefano Moretti is determined to get his family’s name back in the good books after he has pulled it down he is a protector it is inbuilt in him but first he must find the precious jewels that have been lost from the country that he is extremely loyal too. On his own in his family castle he is not expecting visitors when a beautiful young woman knocks on the door he is instantly drawn to her and with the snow falling they are soon snowbound and she is slowly breaking down his walls.
Lucy Jamieson lead violinist in the orchestra has been hurt by her boyfriend and has decided that it is time to right a wrong that happened during World War 2, a story that her grandfather has told her about the precious violin that she plays. Arriving in a snowstorm at the door of the castle, she is shocked at the reaction she has to the count, never before has she felt this way. The castle is cold but soon she is being warmed by this caring vulnerable man.
I loved this story so much, Stefano is an awesome hero, loving caring and Lucy so very warm and caring and not only did Stefano and Lucy connect on a sensual way they understood each in so many ways I thoroughly enjoyed their journey of unravelling the past and opening up to each other and the sensual spark was so beautiful, of course there are some ups and downs before they find the best HEA. This is another fabulous story from Kali Anthony, one that I would highly recommend, Kali Anthony is a must read author for me, and this one is so beautifully romantic, lots of happy sighs from this reader.
