I have been eagerly awaiting my next trip to Italy after reading the first in this series and I loved it so much, Audrey is in Italy after the death of her Nonna, she has discovered a family she didn’t know she had but will she discover love as well?
Audrey arrives filled with hope and joy to meet her other family, she is an aspiring artist who works with cottons, silks and linen, her grandmother introduces her famous sculptor and single dad Gabriel Dimarco who is also part of the family, Gabriel agrees to mentor Audrey but their first real meeting is filled with lots of angst but there is an attraction that cannot be denied, looking for romance was not on her radar but maybe a secret summer fling might be just what she needs, if she can keep her heart protected against love.
Gabriel is never going to fall for a Funaro again once was enough he has his daughter Lili and his art but when he meets new comer to the family, Audrey and spends more time with her she is starting break down the wall that he has built around his heart. Maybe, just maybe he can find love again for him and Lili.
MS Douglas again has written a story that is filled with passionate emotions as Audrey spreads her joy and happiness throughout her new family and she shows Gabriel what life can be for him and Lili if he breaks that wall down, Audrey has never known the heights of passion that Gabriel brings her and the bond they share with Lili is just beautiful, this is a story that is not to be missed, I was smiling throughout the story and I just loved my trip to Lake Como.
The epilogue was the best ever, it had me crying so many happy tears, thank you Michelle Douglas for another beautiful story that will be on the keeper shelf.
My thanks to the author for my copy to read and review.
