I do enjoy my visits to Bellbird Bay, and this time we get to see Greta owner of the boutique Birds of a Feather get a second chance at love with the one who stole her heart many years ago.
Greta has been divorced from her husband for twenty years and is doing well with her boutique when a call from her thirty four year old daughter, Jo tell her she is returning home after many years overseas, Greta is thrilled and then someone from her past arrives in town as well, Leo Carlson they were eighteen when they met and fell in love but Leo never returned as he promised and life moved on for Greta but a piece of heart was always Leo’s.
Leo now runs an empire of hotels around the world he is divorced and work is everything to him when he notices that a hotel in Bellbird Bay is up for sale the place he never forgot because of Greta his first love and the one he has never forgotten, did she get to travel as she planned or is she still in Bellbird Bay, Leo decides to visit and purchase the hotel and he is thrilled to find Greta still there and still as beautiful as ever.
Meeting again they realise that the spark between them is still there and soon they are enjoying being together but their journey to a HEA is not an easy one with Greta’s daughter Jo and her ex Mick interfering and then throw in a disaster and Leo’s ex on the scene, will they find the love and happiness and get that second chance?
It was lovely catching up with the friends that I have made from previous books, this is another wonderful story in this series one I highly recommend.
