Wedding Date With Her Best Friend

Another lovely story set in the Atlanta Children’s Hospital and this time we see an older couple find their HEA, I do very much enjoy seeing them get their well-deserved happiness as usually they have both already been through some difficult times in their lives, come along and meet Valerie and Owen.
Valerie and Owen are both anesthesiologists who have become very close friends over the years they have worked together, particularly enjoying a sweet together here and there, Owen has been widowed for five years and has three grown up children and Valerie has remained single after being hurt by her last partner, she is determined to never be hurt again.
So when Owen asks Valerie to accompany him to his nephews wedding Valerie is wary of changing the nature of best friends to more because she has had a crush on Owen for quite a while now but friends are there to help each other and the answer is yes.
This is an emotional story as Owen finds it hard to look to the future and Valerie is feeling worried about where they are heading, but when a problem occurs at the hospital that could put Valerie in danger Owen finally realises what and who he wants, and it looks like fake dates turn into true love.
I do highly recommend this one to any lover of romance stories.
