Fiona McArthur, you make my heart sing when I read one of your books, they are filled with emotions and such beautiful characters, heroes to die for and heroines filled with strength and love and this one is gorgeous, I loved Simon and Isabella, come along and meet them.
Isabella Hargraves is a midwife and neonatal nurse at the moment she is working in Hanoi but she drops everything to rush back home to Australia after her grandmother is seriously injured in an accident and also to be with her pregnant sister, she moves into her Gran’s apartment on the beach where she can surf every day. She takes on a position in NICU to be close to everyone and meets and has words with Paediatrician and neonatal care doctor Simon Purdy, definitely not her type he is just like all the other men that have been in her life, workaholics.
Simon notices the new nurse as soon as he walks into the unit and he has not felt this attracted to a woman in a long time, losing his wife and son has kept him single and he is determined to stay that way his need to protect and care for the people he loves is way too strong. But their first meeting sees him learning something but then days later she crosses his turf in the surf and he is more determined to put a wall up between them.
But when Isabella’s sister delivers her daughter early, Isabella asks for Simon to look after her precious niece and soon Simon is dropping the walls he has built around his heart with the help of Isabella and with a little push from best friends Malachi and Lisandra they are soon spending more time together and helping each other and love is growing.
I loved this one from start to finish so many happy tears, this one will leave any reader smiling, I do highly recommend it, it is one not to be missed beautiful characters and a gorgeous setting so many emotions, thank you MS McArthur for another keeper.
