We are back in Grand for book two in this series and we get to know Sawyer Lafferty and Leila Monahan can they find love and happiness second time round, they were so young the first time and it seemed like life was against them.
Leila wants to be happily married with children and time is running out for her, with being adopted she also is feeling that it is time to find her biological parents in case she decides on a sperm bank, so she sends in a DNA test and while waiting for her results the one person she has always loved arrives back in town with his eight year old daughter.
Sawyer has been a single dad for some time now and his daughter Piper is everything to him, what he has been through over the years has him very protective of Piper, but it is time to return to Grand, he knows his first and only love would be happily married but that is not what he finds.
Can Leila and Sawyer become friends or will their past put that at bay, with Leila making friends easily with Piper, Sawyer cannot help his feelings growing stronger and Leila feels the same, but with DNA results causing some heartache and maybe happiness and Sawyer’s ex arriving and causing some worry, finding love and happiness is not going to be easy.
This is a lovely romance, with lots of different characters coming into the story, changing and time lines, but Leila and Sawyer deserve a HEA, will they find it? I do recommend this one wonderful characters, and wonderful setting.
