The fifth coyote cowboy Calhoun Miller has arrived in Marietta to fulfill his leader’s wish, with very few clues, he wants to get it done and move on, he is here as well to collect his military dog Kai who has now been re-trained, but a night spent with a beautiful woman and then an accident that sees him in the hospital just might change his plans.
Dr. Jordy Quinn has arrived back in her hometown to take up locum work at the hospital for a couple of months being back here brings back many memories and most of them not good at all, but she decides it is time to make some changes in her life and spending it with a gorgeous man is what she does, and what a night it is but when she becomes his doctor the next day, this is cause for worry and then she discovers that he is here to uncover the mystery of the disappearance of her own father and brother, it means they are going to be spending some time together but both agree that it is not going to forever, or will it?
This is an awesome story both Calhoun and Jordy have had bad childhoods and have they been running away from their pasts? Is it time that they opened up and got closure on their pasts and looked to the future, Calhoun has his brothers and Kai and now Jordy is making friends as well, could they be a family?
This is one that I highly recommend to any romance reader who loves a story that will make them smile, and now I can’t wait for Wolf’s story.
