We are back in Kentucky for the big race day and we meet visiting Irish Vet, Conor and local Vet Christina two people who have been through so much, both are loving and caring people who deserve love and happiness will they be able to put their pasts behind them and find their forever happiness?
Christina loves being a vet even if her mother does not like her doing so and then her ex just about tore her life apart and she is doing her best to rebuild her reputation, she is starting a rehabilitation farm for injured race horses and working hard, when she is asked to board a horse from Ireland for the race she gladly accepts, what she didn’t realise is that the vet caring for the horse was staying as well she is not so trustworthy of men but she rents him a small room at her house what she can’t understand is the way she is drawn to this man.
Conor lost his wife and his will three years ago and spends more time with just one race horse his family are worried and convince him to travel to America with said horse hoping it will bring him back to his old self, meeting his host the beautiful Christina soon has his heart beating as he gets to know this strong and beautiful woman.
Opening up is what they need and they do this soon the pull is too much to ignore and spending passionate times together while tending to the horses opens up a whole new world for them both, but can they really put the past behind to look to the future and decide on where they will live?
This is a beautiful, moving and sensual story, I loved both Conor and Christina the beautiful setting the rush of the horses running and care and love shown all around, it is one that I highly recommend to any romance lover.
