Wish Upon a Christmas Star
Elle Douglas
Who doesn’t love a good Christmas romance, this one is set in the Canadian Rockies there is snow and family Christmas parties just the thing to make you feel Christmassy, fabulous characters and of course a beautiful romance come along and meet our hero and heroine.
Attorney Jeannie Carmichael is looking forward to spending Christmas with her beloved grandparents Sue and Duke at their Butterfly Lodge the night before she is meeting up with workmates at the pub, here she ends up chatting to one of the band members he gives her his number but Jeanie is hoping for an invite to a New Year’s Eve party from one of her colleagues, the phone number is forgotten for now.
Everett McCarthy is disappointed that he never got a date with the beautiful Jeannie and is shocked when she rings him and asks him and his band to play at her family’s Christmas Eve party in the Rockies, the night ends up being very good with lots happening and then being snowed in which means more time spent with Jeannie but he has yet to convince her that a date would be good, even after a midnight stroll through the forest and snow to watch the Northern Lights and opening up to each other he is fast losing his heart to Jeannie if only he can convince Jeannie to do the same.
Christmas kisses, wonderful food and a fabulous party all go hand in hand with the start of a very beautiful journey to a HEA for Everett and Jeannie with a little help from Sue but will Jeannie re-think her life and what she really wants to be with Everett and Everett what a hero kind caring and loving after all he has been through the perfect man for Jeannie.
I did love this story and highly recommend to any romance reader it left me smiling and looking forward to Christmas.
