His Highness's Hidden Her by Dani Collins

His Highness's Hidden Heir by Dani Collins was an exciting whirlwind of emotions that had me hooked from the first page. The premise—Lexi, a former wild-child actress, getting swept into a shotgun wedding with Prince Magnus after a passionate one-night stand—had me intrigued right away. The tension between them is sizzling, and it’s clear that they both have more at stake than just the attraction that brought them together.

Lexi’s struggle with her past and her desire to protect her future, especially when she finds out she’s pregnant, felt very real. She’s terrified of being caught up in another scandal, but Magnus’s reaction is even more surprising. His cold, pragmatic approach to the situation left me frustrated on Lexi’s behalf. It was one of those “I can’t believe he just did that” moments, and I couldn’t wait to see how their relationship would unfold.

The dynamic between Lexi and Magnus is complicated and charged with both passion and emotional distance. Their chemistry is undeniable, but their miscommunication and secrets create a tense, slow-burn kind of drama that kept me reading. Magnus has a lot of growing to do, and watching him realize his feelings for Lexi, and ultimately his commitment to her, was the best part of the book for me.

If you love steamy romance with a dose of royal drama, His Highness's Hidden Heir is an entertaining read. It’s full of twists, passion, and that perfect balance of tension and heartache that makes for a great romance novel.

Highly recommended for all readers of romance.
