The last book has closed on this awesome series, I have met so many wonderful characters along the way and in such a beautiful setting and have loved them all, saying goodbye is hard but what a way to end it with both authors finishing it together and with Briar Appleton and Marina di Maggoli the hero and heroine, this one is steamy, sensual, emotional and fabulous.

Marina has lived in Kurrajong Crossing forever and yes one day she would love to find the right man and now she feels it is time, could it be someone she has known forever? Times are changing the friends that she was always close to are staring families and she wants to find that too and escape her mother’s overbearing ways.

Briar grew up in the commune and now runs Appleton Organics the very popular fruit & vegies and herb farm and he does really well, a quiet man easy going and loved by all, but Briar knows that settling down with someone and having a family is not for him he has his reasons and they are good ones, but maybe if there ever was someone it would be Marina, yes they are friends snarky with each other most of the time but maybe there is something under all of that posturing.

One day will change their lives a hot day when Marina calls Briar to save her and the sparks fly between them and that hot afternoon leaves consequences, consequences that will turn lives upside down, but will they be able to work together for a future> They are so very different but for me made for each other, I loved seeing them discover what had been there all the time and work towards a future for their family, even if it ruffles a few feathers and then makes some other people very happy.

I do highly recommend this one to any lover of a good romance that has a bit of everything in it, it is a great finish to the series and I will be sad to not visit Kurrajong Crossing again, but thank you Dakota Harrison and Fiona Marsden for the fabulous stories.
