We are back in the beautiful magical village of Lower Thistlewick for another story that made me smile come along and meet the newcomer to the village, Charlotte Reid.

Charlotte has decided that a change of life is what she wants giving up her job at Harrods in London she purchases the sweet shop in Lower Thisltewick, she has arrived with her five year plan and the strategy plan that will ensure all goes well this has everything stipulated in time order on a daily basis, planning is a must for Charlotte, will it work here in the village?

All is going well until forty eight hours before opening when a swarm of bees decide that her new sign above the store is where they want to be, publican Alf arrives and calls Tom Wakefield the beekeeper who is very amused at the bees but does his thing and soon things are getting back on track but not quite yet.

Tom has lived just outside the village for fifteen years he has a fourteen year old daughter Bea and is so layback takes everything so easily is quiet and just moves with the flow is very different to Charlotte and Bea has Charlotte all worked out very quickly.

Will Charlotte fit in with the way of life in the village, her five year plan is taking a battering but spending time with Tom seems to be helping not only Tom but the other residents of the village are having a settling effect on her as well and soon she is smiling and laughing and her and Tom are getting to become very good friends who have a lot to talk about discussing honey.

This is another beautiful story about people finding what they need even if they didn’t realise they did, the residents of this village are the best and play a big part in Charlotte’s settling in and there is big news about a couple of the friends I have made throughout this series, this is one that I recommend as is the series.
