I read Stefanie London’s Sweet on You from this anthology so far and again MS London has not disappointed me with one of her stories, she really knows how to reach in deep to emotions and make these characters come to life, I love Patterson Bluff and this time we get to see Mack and Zoey find the love that had been kept to themselves for many years.
Zoey was the fun loving give everything a go girl throughout her life, her family life may not have been the best but she has her big brother and friends and a fabulous take on life, but one thing that has been eluding her for many years was the crush she has had on her brother’s best friend Mack and now is the time that she decides to make her move as well as a new venture with best friend Gwen.
Mack is a strict by the rules guy always look ahead to what can happen and never, never takes risks and that is why he has kept his feelings about Zoey to himself for all of these years, he has always been there if she needs him but kept his distance. When Zoey comes to him to help with her new business venture he is dishing out rules but is getting under his skin and is very convincing in other ways and maybe one night will get her out of his system, or will it.
I really enjoyed this sensual story of friends to lovers, beautifully written it is just the story to bring a smile to any readers face Mack is a strong caring hero and Zoey fun and loving and they suit each other fabulously, I do recommend this one it is short and wonderful and the sweet treat desserts had me wanting them all. I am looking forward to reading more in this anthology.
