roller-coaster of a story. Author Helen Lacey astounds her readers with this
warm, tender tale with compelling characters. This story worked on all levels.
There was love, laughter, surprises, and tears. And I loved it all.
Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

I do enjoy a good friends to lovers troupe and this one is very good, Grant Culhane and Winona Sheehan have been friends since she came to live on the Triple C Ranch and he talked her down from a hayloft, but when a night in Vegas sees them married and expecting a baby, life gets turned upside down for them both.
Winona has lived with her grandfather on the Culhane ranch since her mother walked out on her as a child and she has always felt a part of the family but Grant is her BFF, both have had partners over the years and nothing has changed but now has she lost her best friend, being married is different from being best friends and Winona feels her life in turmoil.
Grant staid, hard working and always in control, he comes from a big family but was bought up by his older brother Mitch and now is a little of centre because of marrying his best friend, things are changing for him and with another issue arising life is a little hard at the moment.
You can love someone and then be in love with someone and both Winona and Grant have a bit a journey to find that they can have both and be the happy family together, this one is moving and filled with emotion as these two people who deserve to find the love that has been there forever find it in such a beautiful way. This is a beautiful romance that I would highly recommend.
