I do love a good story set in the outback with strong characters and this is a great one, set on a cattle station in the outback of Queensland we meet Callie Young a woman who has been hurt and is determined to go forward and Braden Cartwright owner of Kilcoy Station and his three young sons, do they find happiness after all they have been through?
Callie has just walked out on her job as weather presenter on national TV after being humiliated by the man she thought was her fiancé she is now known as the Tik Tok girl after the live video has gone viral and Callie wants out and to be as far away as possible when she takes a job of nanny in the outback there is no TV there but her first meeting does not go to plan and Callie is more than ever determined to wipe men from her life but the longer they are together the more her heart opens up to Baden and his beautiful boys.
Braden is shocked when he meets the new nanny and worried that he has jumped in to quickly to hire someone but he needs help with his three beautiful boys who have been through so much and Callie is a teacher as well, but the more time they are together and as he sees how much his son’s love her his heart is finally opening up again maybe to find love.
This is a lovely story that is filled with emotion that Annie Seaton knows how to write, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Callie, Braden and the boys, I loved the setting and their interaction throughout seeing them open up to each other was the best, this is a story that I would highly recommend and I am very much looking forward to book 2.
