This is a fun story and the second book I have read from this author as she takes us back to the beautiful Curiosity Island in the Whitsundays, a tropical island owned and run as a resort by one family, headed by the matriarch Nan her one wish is to have all of her children and grandchildren married and giving her great-grandkids, will she finally get her wish will the island turn into love island?

Carmen Lowery is a single mum and a perfectionist, she has a plan for everything and is so very caring and wants to make sure everyone is happy, she loves her daughter Mika who was the result of a passionate night in Chicago when she let wild Carmen out to play. Finding out she was pregnant to a stranger shocked her, she did all she could to find Mika’s father but to no avail, then when a tall stranger arrives on the island, Carmen is stunned as Mika’s father arrives.

Bruno Michel is a special ops pilot and he loves his job getting people in and out of danger and he needs to concentrate on that job picket fences and a family are not in his future, one night stands are good although there was one five years ago that he has never forgotten even if he doesn’t know her name. When is sent on some strange mission to an island in the Whitsundays he thinks this is some sort of mistake but he follows orders and arrives only to find the woman who has always had a piece of his heart the woman he never forgot.

The pull is instant like they have never been apart and they pick up where they left off finding places around the island to have some very happy times but both are keeping a big secret and both secrets are sure to blow up big time on this island and does so with a bang. Can they work through their very different lives and make a future as a family?

There are many laugh out loud moments in this story as Carmen’s family add a lot of fun to the story and of course Bruno and Carmen’s journey to a wonderful HEA make for some fun and sensual times, the setting is beautiful add to that the great characters that I loved getting to meet again and am hoping that we get to know more about. I would highly recommend this one.
