I do enjoy visiting Bindarra Creek this is the first of a new series and it was great getting to know new characters and catching up with people we knew already, Natalie Wasson has moved to Bindarra Creek with her teenage son to start a new life, determined to give him the best and find happiness for herself.

Natalia is working hard to earn money for an operation her son Noah needs and she is researching the history of Bindarra Creek and the World War 1 years at Fig Tree Lodge with the Lette family so as she can write a book, but in doing so she invites danger to the town and some of its residents.

Troy Davidson has arrived in town to answer some questions for his mother, who is a relative of the Lette family and linked to the ownership of Fig Tree Lodge, he never dreams of running into his old girlfriend Natalie, the woman he never forgot. When danger arrives his military training kicks in, he must protect Natalie and Noah if she will let him.

Ernest Callen has arrived in town to search for an artifact he has been searching for, for many years and getting close to Natalie is sure to help him get it, he never realizes what danger this artifact is going to cause to people he has come to care for.

This is a fast pace story with danger around every corner the weather isn’t helping or the tension between Natalie and Troy, their past is causing problems and when a secret is revealed emotions run high, but will they be safe all if them? I thoroughly enjoyed this one and look forward to the next one in the series, if you are looking for a great romantic suspense then this is a book I would highly recommend.

My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review
