I do love visiting Bellbird Bay a beautiful small seaside town it is a great place for new beginnings and to start over and this is what Cleo Johansen has found after losing her husband her and her daughter Hannah find themselves in Bellbird Bay and loving it, but could it be even better for Cleo?
Cleo has been running the café in the local garden centre and her daughter Hannah has now finished university and is a teacher and moving out of home which leaves Cleo more time alone and time to think. Things are turned a little upside down when a woman gets in touch with Hannah suggesting that they may be related this has Cleo re-thinking her late husband.
Will Rankin has lived in Bellbird Bay all of his life and runs the local surf school, he has been a keen surfer all of his life and that is not going to change, he is a widow and desperately misses his wife he has a son Owen and they are really close but when Owen moves out and Will is getting harassed by a woman he gave a few lessons to, friends come up with a plan that may help with that and that is pretending to be in a relationship with Cleo, this is far from what he wants.
Cleo is not overly enthusiastic about the suggestion either but Will seems a nice guy and it really can’t hurt, but when feelings are aroused and soon they are becoming more than friends Cleo and Will think all is going well, but there is someone else that wants them spilt up and will do whatever to get it, throw in the plans to stop a big redevelopment of a local beach and this story is moving fast, but can Will and Cleo overcome everything to find the happiness and love they deserve?
This is a great story, fabulous characters and a great setting and of course a beautiful romance, this is one that I would highly recommend, it is sure to keep you turning the pages.
