The third book in this wonderful series and I am loving being back in Cedar River with this family, we got to know a little about David and Annie in the first two books and now will we see them finally find their own HEA.
Annie has been Nanny to the McCall children Jasper and Scarlet after they lost their mother four years ago and she loves them as much as she would her own children, the only problem now is Annie is in love with their father David but he is not interested in her other than as the nanny and a friend. Annie must make a hard decision that will hurt her but if she wants a husband and family of her own it is time to resign.
David has worked hard since the loss of his wife in is accountancy business he does love his children and his big family but he has not thought much about a future love, but when Annie hands in her resignation the wheels start turning in his mind and his heart is doing lots of jumps, what will life be like without Annie in his and his children’s life?
This is a beautiful romance seeing David finally realise that he does loves Annie was a beautiful scene and Annie strong and sure of what she wants and she is not taking anything less than true love, this is one that I do highly recommend, and of course it was wonderful catching up with the other family members.
