Another fabulous trip to one of my favourite places Kurrajong Crossing this time we see Max Jameson, proprietor of the Spotted Cow Inn and local Millie Stevens make a decision that will change their lives for the better and what a beautiful journey it is.

Max lost his wife six years ago and has thrown himself into running the Cow which is one of the best places in town, he has not had any relationships but he knows his heart belongs to Millie and has done for many years but there is a reason he doesn’t let her know.

Millie, is now thirty six and desperately wants a baby she is single and wants a father who she knows well and Max is the man she would choose, will he say yes, it is a hard question to ask she has always been close to Max and his wife was her best friend, she is more than happy for Max to stay anonymous it he so wishes.

Although shocked at the question Max is also thrilled but he wants him and his family to be a part of this child’s life and so the process starts with emotions running high and things not going exactly the way Millie thought it would but the way they have gone is so much better than she thought. When disaster strikes will this push them apart and break the bond that is growing between them or will it see their hearts grow with love?

I did love this story it is sensual, beautifully written and filled with emotion and I highly recommend it and I am thrilled that there will be more to come. Thank you Dakota Harrison for another keeper.
