Scarlett Davis is the youngest of the Davis girls who have grown up on their mother’s reality TV show and Scarlett has never liked being in the limelight, she is so different from her beautiful sisters, and this is often spoken about in the media her confidence is often low but one thing she is, is determined, Scarlett is a fashion designer these days working with her sisters Jensen and Ava building her business. When on the red carpet with her sisters doing her best to pull in new clients a nasty rival says something that makes Scarlett see red and announce her engagement to her best friend Rafe Sanchez, famous billionaire and owner of Manhattan FC, what has she done?
Rafe will never love after his early family life, he became a top soccer player until injury stopped that he is now owner of his own soccer club and works hard in bringing them to the top and at the moment he is busy finding big name sponsors and the last thing he needs is to be in a fake engagement with Scarlett, yes she is his best friend after meeting on her mother’s cooking show part of The Hollywood Divas’ but seriously this is the last thing he wants but for Scarlett he will agree, will this change his life?
Scarlett is so vulnerable at the moment with the pressure she is under not only in her business but with her image as well and Rafe is determined to change that for her, in his eyes she is beautiful and strong and he will do anything to make this work for her, as for Scarlett after a steamy kiss at a party she can no longer keep to herself the real feeling she has for Rafe and soon they are steaming up the sheets in a sensual affair that according to Rafe is to end the passion that they both feel and can get back to their normal lives when the time is up on their fake engagement, but will they be able to?
This is a beautiful, steamy, moving, emotional and sensual story as we get to know Scarlett and Rafe and journey with them through their ride to a HEA? Will they get there though or will life pull them apart? I highly recommend this one to any lover of a fabulous romance.
