We are back in Marietta for book five in this fabulous series, we have gotten to know Sam Price and the Bennett and Harrington family very well through the first four books and this one Sam will again be doing her best to prove the innocence of someone she loves.
When Nate Bennett, Sam’s new fiancé is arrested and charged with murder of a woman he had been working for as a client of Honor’s Edge, Sam knows he is innocent and now life is repeating itself with her throwing everything into investigating and finding the real killer after she did it all those years ago with her father, only this time she is not alone she has the Bennett and Harrington family to support her and help, Nate’s brother Cal is the attorney and with everyone together will they uncover the real murderer before someone else is killed?
This is a fabulous fast paced story that had me turning the pages, what Sam and the family uncover leads them to think that they might know who the killer is and that is someone who Sam and Cal thought might be a friend but maybe not, the ending is edge of your seat and I loved it.
And I am hoping that there will be another one at least in this series so we can see where Cal and Jill’s relationship will lead, this is a book and series that I highly recommend, well written with fabulous characters and of course the setting is awesome, don’t miss this one but it is best to read the series.
