This is one
of those books that will grab you from page one and you will not want to put it
down yes a real WOW factor book and one that I loved keep a fan at the ready
though as you journey with Zane and Iris to a very beautiful HEA.
Iris
Callahan has grown up in a trailer park with a mother who probably shouldn’t
have been a mother and when she turns 18 is left to bring up her baby sister,
Iris will do anything for her sister Jamie and takes on a job to earn money to buy
that house they both want but as all things that sound too good that is how
they end up and Iris ends up on the wrong side of the law and her sister in
foster care. Iris does a runner and this is about to change her life when
bounty hunter Zane Redmond takes her in.
Zane has
returned home he is Green Beret and is determined to sign back up again but
even though his family fell apart years before family means everything and he
is back home to see his brothers loyalty brought him back but catching Iris
makes him stay. You see Zane cannot help himself with vulnerable woman he has
lost before and he will not lose this time and there is something about Iris
that brings out the protective streak and a very sensual spark in him, will he finally
open up to someone.
Zane is just
one of the best heroes I have “met” and will be one of my favourites now what a
lover what a strong alpha hero who I think has such a vulnerable streak in him
as well that I fell hook line and sinker for, and as for Iris she is one strong
and vulnerable woman who needs someone to love her and Zane does just that. I
highly recommend this one it really is one not to be missed. MS Ashenden has
bought these characters to life there is danger emotion and so much love I can’t
wait for the next one in the series loving this family, thank you for another
one for the keeper shelf.
