Oh this is book two in this duet, one I was really looking forward to and what a story it is so heart-warming and moving you see Princess/Dr Beatrice di-Jesolo gave up the man that she loved to keep her mother happy and follow in the Italian royal traditions and marry another royal but that didn’t turn out the way it was planned and now Bea finds herself pregnant and alone so she tries to disguise herself and get some work at a clinic in the Italian mountains and who would be working there as well none other than paediatrician Jamie Coutts the man who still has her heart two years later.

Bea has been through a tough time in the last two years but even more so now you see she has never stopped feeling guilty for what she did to Jamie and that spark is still there, life has changed and there is another person to think of now and this baby must be her top priority but maybe they can be friends at work.

Jamie is shocked when he sees Bea at the clinic the spark is instantaneous, he should still be angry with her for what she did to him but after spending time with the monks it has helped him a little. But the longer they are working together the more his heart is opening and when a bad accident has them saving patients he realizes there are a few changes with Bea, and he is willing risk his heart again.

This is a beautifully written second chance romance that ticks all of the boxes for a fabulous medical gorgeous setting, strong and beautiful heroine and a hero who is just to die for. MS O’Neil really knows how to pull at the heart-strings and show such depth and love in her characters, I do enjoy her stories and this one is a beauty, one not to be missed.

5/5 stars for a great story
