Pelican Crossing #6

Another lovely story in this wonderful series, Livvy Grace has returned home after spending one year in England with her daughter and granddaughters, ready to get back to her counsellor practice at the medical centre, but her world is torn apart by the fact the business she started years ago and left in the capable hands of her partner has been torn from her and now she must make changes.
Dan Parker moved to Pelican Crossing four years ago with his young teenage daughter after the death of his wife, determined to start a new life for them both, he has now done what he has always wanted to and that is start up a Wellness Centre and it is doing really well, he is a physiotherapist, his daughter Kim has now settled in and will soon be starting her last year at school.
When Livvy opens up a new counsellor practice at the Wellness Centre her friends are pushing her towards Dan to find the happiness that they have found but is it what she really wants the more she gets to know Dan the more she thinks it is and Dan is thrilled to find someone who he feels very good with but life can throw spanners in the works and when they both thought things were going well it seems they are now falling apart, will they find what they both deserve?
Maggie Christensen writes fabulous stories filled with strong and capable heroes and heroines all in their fifties or older they have a lot of experience and I think this is what makes them beautiful stories filled with emotion her characters are true and honest, I loved Livvy and Dan and of course catching up with friends from previous books in the series is always a bonus, I am looking forward to the next one. I do highly recommend this one it is a fabulous read.
My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review.
