This is such a beautiful story and it finishes off the Christie Ryan mystery series so wonderfully, it is Christmas time and there is a lot going on in River’s End but there is still one little mystery left to unravel and Martha and Christie are determined to get to the bottom of it but they are not the only ones.
The other mysteries that had come to River’s End have all bought danger to the beautiful town and its occupants, will this one do the same or will it give closure to them all and bring joy for Christmas and the future?
So with Martha and Christie and Thomas and Martin both doing their own investigating, reading through diaries and letters there is joy and heartache. Christmas is a busy time and with parties to organize and presents to be bought, there is also what appears to be a misunderstanding at Palmerston House with Elizabeth and Angus and a new arrival that will win hearts.
I don’t want to say too much other than this is a story that is beautifully written, it is moving and emotional and had me turning the pages, River’s End and the occupants have become friends and this last piece of the mystery needed to be learnt, I highly recommend this book and the series, it has given me many hours of pleasure lots of emotion and left me smiling. Don’t miss this one thank you MS Clark I look forward to many more books and catching up with friends in them.
