Another fantastic story in this series, I do love visiting Pentecost Island in The Whitsunday’s and catching up with the awesome group who call this place home, they are all working hard on the resort to make it the best. They need more help in the kitchens, so Angus Alexander is hired as sous chef and Cherry Chilcott is hired as a trainee both are thrilled until they meet in the kitchen were tempers flare.
Cherry is thrilled to finally be able to follow her heart and train as a chef it has taken a while and only after she has built up some confidence over the last eighteen months and lost some of her shyness and that was done with the help of the man she fell in love with on a holiday to Lord Howe Island, when he up and left her for no reason she learnt to stand up for herself and moved on and now she is to work with him as his trainee.
Angus had never been happier after his trip to Lord Howe Island and finding Cherry, he was working hard as a chef and aiming to open his own restaurant, life was good that is until it all turned sour and he could not believe who has caused this, it was time to move on and make a new life for himself. He is thrilled when offered the job on Pentecost Island and then shocked when he sees who his trainee will be, he is still attracted to her and he is wondering how this is going to work out.
Cherry had always been shy and lacked confidence this had affected her life growing up and Angus had a big problem with trust, but the instant attraction they both felt when they saw each other at the airport on their way to Lord Howe Island built to make them both so happy, but their past problems caused a breakup, one more so, but now working on the island they really should finally let everything out in the open and let go of the past.
Of course it is so wonderful catching up with the other Pentecost Island girls and their partners is such fun, they really are loving and caring and I am beginning to think the Pentecost Island might be a bit of a matchmaker as there have been some awesome romances and another one to come. I did love this one.
Thank you to the author for my early cope to read.
