Michelle Douglas always takes me on wonderful journeys filled with love, emotion and romance and this time I had an awesome trip to Singapore as well, I feel like I have been there and I now have the need to go and check out all of these wonderful places. Of course this book also has a beautiful romance between two people who have been bought up in totally different ways, fashion designer Christy Minslow and millionaire James Cooper-Ford, I do hope that you enjoy this one as much as I did.
Christy loves designing and has her own company which is doing really well but Christy doesn’t like all the balancing and business side of things but Beach Monday is so important to her and the changes she has made to a lot of workers in poorer countries, so when the owner of a huge fashion house invites her to Singapore to talk about buying Beach Monday, Christy doesn’t hesitate to go but she will not part with the company unless it is on her terms. Her first meeting with James sets her heart aflutter like never before but she has been burnt before and is very wary.
James is an only child and has been given everything growing up and now runs the family company, his mother has not long retired and she had a hard way about running the company but James is looking to change that and that is why he wants Beach Monday so much, not just for the beautiful designs, when he meets Christy at the airport she is shocked that it was him but he feels a pull towards her not only is she beautiful but she is happy to say what she thinks.
James has never had a holiday work is all he does and as they get to know each other Christy is determined to change that she can see that under that hard outside is a very caring and fun guy. They explore Singapore together and talk openly about their lives and Christy is pushing for her ways in business to be carried on if she sells to James. This is a beautifully written story that has all the feels for romance that is meant to be, MS Douglas bought Christy, James and Singapore to life, their journey had a few big hurdles to cross but cross them they did in the most romantic and loving way.
Thank you so much for my early copy MS Douglas, this is a book that should not be missed, I loved it so much I highly recommend this one.
