Who doesn’t love a good Christmas story? Set in one of my favourite towns this one sees Magda Duncan find love with her best friend George Turnbull, who would have thought that when you reach the age of seventy that life could bring such smiles, I did very much enjoy this one.

Magda is now back home in a new house after the devastating fires last Christmas, will a new home make for a new life, Magda is restarting her massage business and busy planning a Christmas with her two sons and their families. Things can change very quickly and Magda is feeling a lot of turmoil with her emotions as her best friend George is over the moon with a gift from the past but her feelings are growing in a different direction for George, will it be too late.

George is thrilled to receive a phone call from New Zealand, this will change his life and now maybe it is time to finally show his best friend Magda his true feelings for her, he has been there for her and her boys since losing her husband and his best friend many years ago, they are the only family he has, but will changes cause problems?

A delightful story filled with emotion and feelings as two people find the love they deserve after many years, a true family Christmas set in Granite Springs and a story to make any reader smile, I do love visiting Granite Springs and the wonderful characters that live there. A story I highly recommend.

My thanks to the author for my copy to read and review.
