HIS MAJESTY’S HIDDEN HEIR by author Lucy Monroe is an October 2021 release by Harlequin Presents series.

This is Book Two of the mini-series “Princesses by Royal Decree”.

Book One is: “Queen by Royal Appointment”.

Prince Konstantin can’t forget Emma Carmichael but he did walk away from her and their scorching hot passion-filled lives. He had obligations. But why did he not look for her? He does find her five years later and now she has a son…a son who was his replica. Could he walk away again? Could he leave his son and heir and walk away? Would he?

What would Emma do? Could she keep her son away from his father and his heritage?

HIS MAJESTY’S HIDDEN HEIR is an emotional story. Author Lucy Monroe did a wonderful job in bringing this family together. This is an emotionally compelling, beautifully executed story about a prince who needs to stand firm after his family did a contract on his behalf. Readers would be hooked to this story till the last page.

Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

Helen's Review

This is the second book in this series and it was fabulous, so romantic and gorgeous as Prince Konstantin learns that the woman he has never forgotten is the mother of a son he didn’t know he had, a man of honour he is determined to put things right and convince Emma that marriage is what should happen and here begins a beautiful courtship.

Emma and Kon shared an apartment and a fabulous life together at university against her parent’s wishes, although love was never mentioned and he always said it was not forever she always felt loved by Kon, then heartbreak as Kon, a Prince leaves her to return and stand by an old marriage contract to marry someone else, Emma is heartbroken and even more so when she realises she is pregnant and has no way of getting on contact with Kon.

Prince Konstantin returns home to Mirrus to fulfill the contract, but things change and Kon is still single he never forgets Emma and when he meets her and a little boy in a bank in New Mexico Kon is stunned to see that he has a son and nothing will stop him from making sure that he is in his life forever and Emma’s as well.

I was not a fan of Kon from meeting him in the first book in this series but it is not long before I am singing his praises as he goes all out to convince Emma of a future together and as for their son Mickey what a fabulous kid and such a match maker, I loved him and Emma what a beautiful heroine inside and out she has been hurt so many times by people but still stood tall and proud and did everything to give her son a fabulous life.

This is a beautiful story one that I would highly recommend to any romance lover, the ending was gorgeous there were many happy tears from me, I loved Kon, Emma and Mickey.

My thanks to the author for my copy to read and review
