Even though this is part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone, it is a sweet romance set in the outback and such a beautiful setting, red dust sturt desert peas and wonderful characters in this small town

Maggie Hayes has lived all of her life in this small town, yes she has always wanted to travel and has done a bit way back when she finished school but these days she is running her parents shop while they travel in retirement, but when a very handsome stranger arrives in town Maggie starts thinking about the future.

Jace has arrived in town to think, he is estranged from his family and it is an anniversary that brings him heartache and little break in a town in the outback is surely what he needs, that is until he meets Maggie the beautiful red head who runs the B&B he is staying in. Maggie gets under his skin and makes him think about the future, could there be one together?

This is a lovely romance Jace and Maggie deserve happiness but can they move forward and for Jace put the past behind him and for Maggie can she see her future other than in the town she has always been in? Written with heart and caring it is a story that I would recommend.

My thanks to the author for my copy to read and review.

Maggie Hayes loved her small outback little town. She minds the store for her parents who retired and is doing a lot of traveling in their RV. Not much goes on in their town. It was drying up but the townspeople are trying to bring it back to life. Even though she would love to travel a bit she will stay to help her parents anyway that she can. Including the store. Will she ever do something for herself?
Jace De Haven is running away from his past. He lost his brother years ago. That’s when his family fell apart. His mother had to

confessed that Jace was not his father’s biological son, which meant he couldn’t donate his bone marrow. Jace was angry with his parents and their divorce. His father could hardly look at him. It hurt Jace so much.

Now that Jace meets the beautiful Maggie will he finally realize that family is important? Maggie believes it. Will he forgive his mother and father? Will he let the past go? Will Maggie finally tell her parents she wants other things in life, like travel, get married and have children? Can both of them figure out what, where and who they want for their future? Will they finally let go of the past? Worth the read. These characters are wonderful. Strong and independent. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily.
