This series just gets better and better with every book I pick up, this is another brilliant and fabulous story and of course I loved being back in Elsie Creek, I have been hoping that Hot Doc would get his story and now he has, come along and see how he gets on with the new ranger and the excitement that comes their way as they journey to a gorgeous HEA set in the beautiful Northern Territory.
Doctor Stewart Mannen has been at the Elsie Creek Hospital for a while now but honestly he can’t wait to get back to the big city hospital, he is here working with his father and is now counting down the weeks till he leaves, but when he rescues the new ranger his life seems to take a different turn.
National Park Ranger Alice Meadows is known as the new ranger although she has been in Elsie creek for three years now, but that might have a lot to do with the fact that when Alice is not working she much prefers to be home with her romance books, and rescued animals, she does have a crush on the hot doc secretly of course so when her house suddenly collapses, she is rather pleased with who her rescuer is.
Alice is saved and stitched up by Stewart and now she is his roommate there are rules of course and they agree to be friends, Stewart is not overly impressed with the rescue animals that come to live and then Alice suggests that Stewart, the work alcoholic take a couple of days off and she will take him into the national park camping, this trip opens his eyes to a lot of things, and see him open up but they also discover a problem that will bring danger to them.
I read this one in one sitting I picked it up and there was no way I was putting it down till I finished, feeling the emotions as Stewart and Alice grow closer together seeing Stewart come alive with Alice and open up was just awesome and Alice the supposed bad guy who is so strong, beautiful and caring, this book (and the series) is a must read.
The start of the book is awesome, white ants and romance books and it just gets better at each turn of the page as Stewart and Alice find their way to love along a very rocky path, I loved this one and am so thrilled that this series will continue, Elsie Creek is the best place to be, there were so many emotions, tears, laughter smiles and cheers, I do highly recommend this one.
My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review.
