We are back in the small southern town of Moonshine in Georgia and this time we are spending more time with therapist Bree Hawthorne, we have got to know her well in the first two books in this fabulous series, Bree is a very caring person and has a lot of hurt in her past this is one of the things I think that make her such a great therapist but when GBI agent Mitch Calloway arrives in town to investigate the body that has been found Bree feels her heart moving in a direction it has not for a long time, will she find her HEA?
Bree has helped law enforcement in the past and when the body that has been discovered turns out to be a past patient she is more than happy to help again but this case will bring change to her life, Mitch is a man who can come across rude at times but when she and he have desert and he explains himself there is a spark that is growing between them and soon they are working together to get answers.
Mitch knows that he has problems with his social skills but feels a pull towards Bree in ways that have not happened before and knows with them working together he will struggle with his emotions, but he is determined to keep her safe at all times as they get into this investigation, but what they find will shock them all.
This is a great story fast paced, as Bree and Mitch investigate a cult high up in the mountains it is filled with emotion as Bree uncovers things from her past that she thought never to know and Mitch has a hard time working with his emotions, will they come out safely and will they find their HEA? I do highly recommend this one it is a fabulous story with fabulous characters, and I am looking forward to the next visit to Moonshine.
