Who doesn’t love a Christmas romance and this one is gorgeous, so Christmassy first off and such a beautiful story, come to Wirralong and meet Bea and Jaxon.

Bea Fraser grew up in the small Victorian country town of Wirralong and spent most of the time with her dear Nan, Lucy Fraser but she moved away became a primary school teacher and has been living in Melbourne but when she discovers that her Nan has had a fall and is in hospital, Bea cancels her Christmas trip to Bali that was supposed to help her get over the fact that she has just cancelled her wedding she is sure that this trip will help her heal even more than the trip, when she runs into an old friend from school, Jaxon Hooper she is soon positive that it will help.

Jaxon moved away from Wirralong when he was a young boy after losing his family in an accident, his dear Granny Prue took him far up north to Cairns and he joined the army and worked in intelligence but know his granny has dementia and is now living in the new aged car facility Riverbend House and that last person he expected to rung into was his old school mate Bea, it appears that their grandmothers are both in Riverbend House.

When Bea’s Nan’s cat Leonardo goes missing Jaxon steps in to help rescue him and when Jaxon needs a place to stay, Bea offers the spare room at her Nan’s but there seems to be a bit of dilemma between the two grandmothers and they need to find out what it is as their hearts are opening up to each other could there be some connection that goes back a long way?

This is a beautiful story seeing Bea and Jaxon work together on all of the Christmas activities for The Christmas Fair and seeing them get closer was beautiful and I loved reading every page and getting to know them better had me smiling, and will they uncover the mystery of the feud? I do highly recommend this one, happy smiles from this reader.
