I do love a good reunion story and this one is so very good, we get to know Dana Warren a smokejumper and Dr. Travis Russell as they meet again after spending a summer together learning to fight wild fires by jumping from planes many years ago. A lot has happened in those years both have changed and now they have to spend some time together to rescue a patient, and the emotions run high.
Dana has learnt that looking after herself is best, she doesn’t want to rely on anyone especially with the job she has, when she is called into work she is thrilled that it is time for her to take her crew up but no it isn’t she is told to help rescue an ill patient stuck in the forest with a fire close by, she never expects to see Travis Russell standing there, the guy she had a big crush on many years ago, this should be a good few days.
Travis is shocked when Dana is called into help him with his patient, they were best friends many years ago and he has thought of her over the years but back then he had his life planned and nothing was going to change it, sadly life doesn’t always work out and spending three days with Dana makes him realise that he may have made an error all those years ago.
This is a fabulous story, fast paced and what a gorgeous setting, I loved seeing the tough and strong willed Dana open her heart again to the wonderful caring and loving Travis, both have been through a lot in the years apart and now is their time to find the love and happiness they deserve. Thank you MS Carlisle for a beautiful story, lots of emotions and happiness. I do highly recommend this one.

story as it unfolded on the pages. This is an emotional and thrilling story set
in dangerous wilderness and all the medical drama as well as family warmth and
relationships.
Highly recommended for all readers of romance.
