This is a lovely romance a story of endurance and knowing that some things that are worth fighting for may take some time before you get there, the second book in this series we meet Will Huntley and Dr. Lisa Bakker as they have a rocky road to their HEA in Nevada.
Will Huntley is the bad boy of the renowned Huntley family from Bondi, Sydney Australia, everything seems to have come easily to Will but the family company is struggling and older brother James is pulling the pin on Will’s allowance and when you are addicted to gambling, drinking and being a playboy this is going to be a tough road for Will. He enters a retreat in Las Vegas for three weeks and here he will meet Dr. Lisa Bakker and his life will change.
Lisa is good at her job as a counselor at the exclusive retreat and has had a lot of success with her patients, although new patient Will Huntley is not her patient she still has him for group sessions and there is something about this Aussie larrikin that makes Lisa take more notice of him and when he helps her with a problem things are heading in a dangerous way, the law is very clear on doctor patient involvement she must not lose her heart.
It was good to see Will succeed so well with his treatment but falling for Lisa cannot be helped Will has never felt this way before and Lisa is his Queen of Hearts, he stays in Boulder City and works hard at opening a new store in the aim of winning Lisa’s heart. Lisa struggles with her feelings there are rules and there is no way they can be together for at least two years, but love is worth fighting for and Will never gives up on Lisa his Queen of Hearts. A lovely HEA is just what they needed.
