Another fabulous Kelly Hunter story, this author has such a beautiful voice for romance, her stories pull the romance reader in with heroes and heroines who deserve love and happiness and she brings them together in the most sensual and emotional ways. This one is set in Australia in the outback and we get to meet two vulnerable people and I loved them both. Come along and meet Judah Blake and Bridie Starr you are in for a wonderful and beautiful journey to happiness.
Judah has finally returned to his home after being away for seven years for something he did not do, he has lost so much in those years not only his parents but some of the person he was and to come home to the fact that the woman he saved now owns some of his land that is not right and Judah plans to make it right anyway he can even if it means announcing their engagement.
Bridie is now an excellent photographer but it has taken some time to get to where she is now after what happened to her seven years ago and the man who saved her is finally home she has always felt something for Judah, but when he announces their engagement at his welcome home ball she is determined to have a say in how this engagement and relationship will pan out and she is not giving an inch to get what she wants.
This is a very moving and witty story I loved Bridie oh my what a heroine after all that she has been through she never gives an inch in making Judah see that he is well loved and resilient I loved how she got him to open up and Judah what can I say a hero who had been hurt but was still determined to do the right thing by so many people in his life and seeing him open his heart and mind to Bridie and fall in love was just awesome. Another must read from Kelly Hunter, I loved it and highly recommend it, it is fabulous.
My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review.
