Again Kali Anthony has taken me into the world of Palaces. Billionaires the lifestyle of the rich and did it awesomely, we meet Sara and Lance, a hero and a rake and a heroine who has been trained to be a queen, on first meeting the attraction is instant and hard to ignore, two different people will they find happiness?
Lance Astill is the Duke of Bedford and has many names in the tabloids one of them being debauched Duke and he is determined to stay that way, no marriage, no children the line must end with him, but when he is at a funeral by request of his best friend Rafe who is soon to be the new King of Lauritanian he meets Lady Sara Conrad, and when he is asked to help her he cannot refuse.
Lady Sara has just lost her fiancé the crown prince of Lauritanian, this was an arranged marriage, but when her parents are trying to arrange another marriage Sara asks Lance Astill to help her cause a scandal because he knows how to, she is sure this will protect her from another marriage but will she be able to protect he heart the more time they spend together?
A fake engagement and a trip to London starts the tabloids working and soon Sara is finding that being away from her family and spending time with Lance is showing her another way to live, but the sizzling sensual times spent together may not win his heart, she can see him for who he is not what the press see him as.
I loved this one from page one, Kali Anthony never disappoints and this one will be on the keeper shelf, I loved Lance and Sara two people who deserve to find love and happiness, this filled with emotion and beautifully written it is a must read, one that any romance reader should not miss out on.
