Book one in this fabulous series and we are in Last Stand, Texas, this is the first book from this author that I have read and it won’t be the last, MS Vale has bought to her readers a story with emotion, heart and soul as Sammie and Alec work their way to a beautiful HEA although there are some hurdles to cross first.
Samantha “Sammie” Abel has been on a reality TV show for a while now The Buckin Babes but when it gets cancelled the other ladies in the show decide to make something of themselves rather than just being pretty and start Grit and Grace Roughstock Company hopefully to supple animals to the rodeos and she is working hard to secure their first contract, only there might be a problem because she finds herself pregnant and it appears that the father is also trying for the contract.
Alec Neisson is a professional bull rider but he needs a break caring for his injured should, he has not forgotten the beautiful Sammie and the one glorious night they spent together but she has been ghosting him and now he gets the chance to go to Last Stand and meet up with her but when he meets up and she tells him her news he is stunned but more than happy to marry her but she is not eager, will he be able to romance her into marriage with everything else that is going on.
This is a beautiful story one that I highly recommend to any lover of a good cowboy/girl romance, I loved Alex what a hero and Sammie strong and determined after the upbringing she had and I can’t wait to get the other woman’s stories.
