We are back in The Yukon Valley, Alaska for another wonderful romance it is spring now and that means Break-Up Festival the ice is melting and hearts are opening up as well, will we see Widow Deidre Steen find love again, when the man who was not only her husband’s best friend but also hers returns to home to help out with his parents.
Deidre works very hard these days firstly as administration officer at the hospital and also working on the family property where they are now getting lots of visitors for holidays but when Dr. Calvin Garrett returns and is working at the hospital, he also brings back lots of memories from her past you see he left and she married Elijah but when Calvin left all those years ago he took a piece of her heart with him.
Calvin has returned to help out with his parents for a short break but working at the hospital and being around Deidre opens up his heart so much, yes he left years ago but she has always been in his heart, is there a chance that they could become more than friends now?
Their workmates and members of the community are doing their best at match-making so Calvin and Deidre decide fake dating might keep them of their backs but where will this lead to?
This is another fabulous story in this series one that I highly recommend, sensual and wonderful as Calvin and Deidre work through the past and come out in the future, I loved it and am looking forward to another trip to The Yukon Valley.
