Jack doesn’t want love or commitment but here he was, attracted to Sylvie. The passion between them burnt red-hot and ultimately he had to unleash it.
RIVAL’S ONE-NIGHT RULE is an emotional swoon-worthy romance with a strong heroine, who would not settle for anything less than what she wanted. And a sensitive gorgeous hero, who was emotionally closed but opens up when the time is right. Author Melanie Milburne beautifully brought these two characters together making them move past their grievances and achieving their happy ever after. This is an emotionally uplifting story of hope and future.
Highly recommended for all readers of mysteries.

Another fabulous story from Melanie Milburne, her stories always pull me in with fabulous characters, wonderful settings and stories that are filled with emotions and lots sensuality in such a good way.
Two lawyers both determined never to love after their childhoods Jack Wilde and Sylvie Rathbone, they have come up against each other in court before and now they are acting for a couple who are divorcing Sylvie for the wife and Jack for the husband but they also now find themselves neighbours and there is a pull between them that neither saw coming but both are happy to have one night to get this feeling out of their systems but one night will never be enough.
The more time they spend together the more the heat gets hotter, they both know that it is not a good idea but you cannot ignore love even if they both have done their best to do so, I loved this one so much and I highly recommend it, it is sigh worthy and now I can’t wait for Jonas’s story, bring it one.
