What Happen's in Charleston by Rachel Bailey

Review by Nas

WHAT HAPPENS IN CHARLESTON by USA TODAY Bestselling Author Rachel Bailey is a February 2012 release by Harlequin Desire.

Matthew Kincaid is a single dad struggling with his emotions as his three year old son is in hospital. What will Matthew do now that his child needs his biological mother’s bone marrow? Matthew calls Susannah Parrish and in an instant she is ready and willing to do whatever needs to be done to save the life of that little child. But at what cost to her? Won’t she get emotionally attached to the baby Flynn? What about the simmering chemistry between Matthew and Susannah?

Will they act on it? And if they do act on their attraction, what message would it send to their little child?

WHAT HAPPENED IN CHARLESTON is a refreshing, captivating and breathtaking romance. The premise is exciting and the story keeps you involved from the first page. The relationship dynamics of a surrogate mother and her child is tenderly rendered. As Rachel Bailey’s storytelling unfolds it comes to life and by the end we are left with plenty of surprises and perhaps what could be considered a good start for a sequel. Which I found to my delight is the case as there are more stories in the Kincaid Dynasty!
