THE TYCOON'S SECRET DAUGHTER is an emotional story about alcoholism and its effect on families. It dealt with the issue in a very realistic way. I liked that Max was not that arrogant and accepted the blame. And I wonder how many people would give their husband second chances as Kate did? Can a relationship really survive this addiction?
Susan Meier takes us to unexpected depths of human relationships and trust. She brings this powerful story of an alcoholic and aggressive husband and his personal relationship with his successive recovery from the addiction with realistic imaginary. And the relationship depicted between Max with their daughter, Trisha is endearing. It's a wonderfully poignant tale of old passions, second chances and everlasting love!
