Remember the song by Paula Abdul "Opposites Attrack" well that is definitely the theme song for this book.

The author brilliantly took Mr business bigshot Nate and happy go lucky Addie and brought them together with a fun, fresh tale of romance found in the last place we expect. The author as a unique writing style and lets the reader truly experience every emotion and to me it felt like I was part of the books "heartbeat".

I loved every second and I will recommend the book to anyone who loves to read about opposite world being matched and meshed in a truly STUNNING way !

He's a corporate drone who lives to work.  He lives in London, one of the world's most exciting cities, yet he doesn't remember the last time he took a ride in a red London bus.  She's a modern day hippy type, with her ethnic wear, cornrow hair, vegetarian lifestyle and organic food business.  He lives in a snazzy apartment.  She lives in a houseboat.  Can they ever get it together?

Yes, they do.  And how!  They clash in a protest over his corporate takeover of a walled hospital garden.  I was a little surprised to find myself reading a really hot love scene halfway through the story.  Why so early?  Well, there's a reason.  This is not about love between an unlikelly couple.  It's about learning to love life too, with all its good and bad points.

The book, which I initially took for a flirty, fun love story, has an amazing heroine, one who is a cancer survivor.  Someone who fought a terminal illness and survived and wants to spread the message that life is worth living. Addie sees in Nate a man who is working on his first heart attack.  She makes it her mission to rescue him, to make him look beyond the corporate world and smell the roses before it's too late.

Addie's fight against cancer touched me deeply, as I am the daughter of a cancer survivor.

So if you like hot love scenes, fun, frothy romances and a serious social message as well, you will surely find something to enjoy in this unique romance novel.

Enjoy.

Taming the Tycoon

TAMING THE TYCOON by author Amy Andrews is an August 2012 release by Entangled Publishing.

Nathaniel Montgomery is busy. He has no time to spare for what he considers frivolous activities. When he bought a walled garden and planned to bulldoze it to make access he has no compunctions. But he hadn't counted on placard bearing protesters.

Adelaide Collins had survived cancer and now takes live as it comes. She had left the professional rat race far behind to enjoy simple living. She was one of the placard bearing protestors whom Nathaniel encountered, when she cuffed herself with him. But before they could be uncuffed, Nathaniel is injured in a freak accident.

Now Addie wanted to pay it forward, because as she says Nathaniel saved her life. So she decides to help him out. Nathaniel needed a date for the weekend so he accepts her offer on the condition that it was one weekend only. They hadn't taken into account the sizzling attraction and the sexual tension that would ignite between them.

Would Addie manage to tame the tycoon and make him a fun loving, stop and smell the rose's type of person?

Amy Andrews books are fast-paced, sexy, steamy and intensely emotional. TAMING THE TYCOON is certainly no exception. Featuring a sexy hero, a lovely heroine and a gripping premise that you will want to read it in one sitting.
