Fake Engagement Arrangement
Wilde Billionaire Brothers #1
Melanie Milburne
Reviewed by HelenMollie was devastated that she had to jilt Jago but she really had no choice than to do so at the time, yes she had loved Jago but he never loved her, oh the chemistry between them was huge but love was what she needed after the life she had grown up in and now two years later Jago is here offering her something that she again cannot refuse for so many reasons but she knows the chemistry is still there.
One weekend together will spark up the cravings they have for each other and neither of them can deny them and soon the room is heating up as they succumb to that chemistry but can they say goodbye at the end of the weekend or will Jago finally see that he has loved her all along?
This is one that I highly recommend, sensual, moving and emotional, wonderful characters that were very easy to like, I loved seeing them finally open up to each other about their pasts.
My thanks to the author for my copy to read and review.
Melanie Milburne delivers another page-turning romance with Fake Engagement Arrangement, blending high-stakes emotion with irresistible second-chance chemistry.
Jago Wilde, still scarred from being left at the altar, is the ultimate commitment-phobe—unless it means keeping a promise to his beloved grandmother. Enter Mollie Cassidy, the “runaway bride” who shattered his heart years ago. Now, she's back, and their fake
engagement becomes the perfect cover for both of their messy realities.
What I loved about this book is how Author Melanie Milburne gives emotional weight to the drama. Mollie isn’t just a heartbreaker—she left for reasons tied to family loyalty and sacrifice. And Jago, while guarded and angry, never crosses the line into cruelty. Their push-pull dynamic is electric, fueled by old wounds, unresolved desire, and the tension of pretending to be in love when the feelings never truly disappeared.
The writing is sleek and engaging, with plenty of Melanie Milburne’s signature glamour—private jets, luxury estates, and sizzling slow-burn tension. But it’s the emotional vulnerability beneath the surface that makes the story shine. Both characters must confront their past mistakes and decide if love is worth the risk again.
If you enjoy fake fiancés, emotionally complex heroes, and heroines with strong hearts and even stronger reasons, Fake Engagement Arrangement will hit the sweet spot. A satisfying blend of angst, heat, and heart.
