This is one of those magical stories that will stay with me for a long time make sure you have your tissues ready because you are going to need them sigh.
Krissy Peniglatt is a hard working nurse but most people still see her as the irresponsible and laid back young girl of her youth but when the time comes to keep the promise that she made to her very best friend Jarrod years before Krissy is determined to do this on her own and show people that she is and adult and capable of being a single Mum. Krissy is a beautiful fun loving and caring person and people need to look inside to see her properly.
Spencer Penn was also the best friend of Jarrod they never kept any secrets from each other during school and when Jarrod joins up in the army for what Spencer says is the wrong reasons and then does not come home Spencer is even more angry with Krissy you see these three were friends in school but they were young and emotions were hard to get through and there is a lot of water under the bridge that needs to be sorted, so Krissy and Spencer's first reunion does not go well.
Truly this is a beautiful story MS Marcus has bought the characters to life on the pages she has made me smile with the dialogue between Spencer and Krissy and made me cry as well the emotions that are flying off the pages will keep you turning them fast, what an amazing journey this one is, one that I highly recommend. To see love blossom with family and friends to help and the epilogue is fabulous I loved having Kira and Derrick there. Thank you MS Marcus for a fabulous story that will be read many times over I loved both stories in this series.
