I am back in the little Somerset Village of Holmes in England the weather has been dreadful and flooding is causing a lot of heartache for some but it is also causing love to blossom for two of the most deserving people paramedic Jack Halliday who we met in the first story in this duo and fire fighter Cassandra Clarke grab a drink sit back and enjoy you will not want to be disturbed.
Jack is a single father and he is happy in life Ellie means everything to him and he has no plans to fall in love or obtain a mummy for Ellie but when he is separated from his work partner in the floods and is rescued by fire fighter Cass maybe things will change Jack has not felt a spark like this for a long time and as they get to know each other better while working to rescue and keep people safe thoughts are running through his mind but there are a few things he must come to terms with first.
Cass has been left heartbroken and is now decidedly married to her job but when her pregnant sister needs help Jack steps up to the mark and Cass is thinking that there maybe a way that she can have a relationship with Jack and get to know Ellie without anything being permanent but will that be enough?
I highly recommend this one it is beautifully written, moving and thoughtful I loved the setting and the strength that Jack and Cass showed throughout the story. To see Jack and Cass get their HEA will bring such joy and heartfelt thanks from readers thank you MS Claydon for a story that had me hooked from page one another for the keeper shelf.
