WOW this is a fabulous romantic suspense story a book that will keep you guessing till very close to the end my mind was jumping around with trying to work out who the killer was turning the pages and not getting anything done at home I had such a hard time putting it down. So I recommend that you give yourself some time and sit back and enjoy this one it is a book to really sink your mind into so much going on and such a sensual romance between heroine author Stacey Holland and hero homicide detective Chase Durant and so many fabulous characters.
Stacey is a romance author an award winning author who puts so much into her stories she goes to great lengths to make sure that everything works the way it should she is a fun person but does not date due to her past and she has a bit to get over she will never be pushed around again all her pets are just the best Midnight and Cuddles but when she contacts detective Durant for some help with her story well let’s just say that life as Stacey knows it is going to be turned completely upside down and murders are taking place that seem very close to her stories.
Chase loves his job and is doing everything he can to catch the serial killer who is lose in the city of Melbourne but there are a lot of similarities with these murders to MS Holland’s stories and he aims to find out what is going one needless to say that brings them very close together and then the killer is out to get them both talk about edge of your seat. Chase feels the spark between him and Stacey but Chase has a few worries that hold him back and of course Stacey doesn’t date where is this journey to catch a killer going to lead them?
This story has everything that a fabulous romantic suspense should have with a dose of humour thrown in as well I loved Stacey and Chase and their sensual partnership as they do what they can to catch a sadistic psychopath, they both have so much going on with their lives and MS Somers has bought them and their feelings to life on the pages you will be cheering them on and yelling when danger Is near. We met Chase in MS Somers first book Lethal in Love and it was great seeing him get his HEA with just the right person for him in Stacey author extraordinaire. Thank you MS Somers for a fabulous story.
